3D scan of the polychromed wood bust of Saint Constance, 15th-century (circa 1450–1475)
This sculpture has a static pose and clear symmetry which makes it a great model to begin studying head form.
It's helpful to go back and forth with structure/skeleton/sculpture/lines tools, noticing how they connect to each other. Moving the model and looking at it from different angles while drawing is very important for better understanding of the complex shape.
Since this is a study, what matters the most is the process and the skill that you'll gather on the way!
Art anatomy: head, neck
