Moses by Michelangelo (arm, fragment)

A fragment of the Michelangelo’s sculpture Moses (Italian: Mosè c. 1513–1515).

This is the model for drawing with the focus on studying an arm, including shoulder, elbow and palm.

Michelangelo’s Moses features a famous anatomical detail in its right forearm: the extensor digiti minimi muscle. This tiny muscle only contracts and becomes visibly tensed when the little finger is raised.

For better experience we recommend to open the model on your PC or laptop
